A new international performing arts project is starting in Vienna!
This is a contemporary performance program for the future. Participants of this program could be part of the first moments of a"next history"...!?

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was his name.
Many human lives are influenced by the arts, and artists and people want to continue telling their story for the next generation. Art created today will become ‘classic’ one day. The founder of the fifoo.program, Sako Kanako, has been thinking: if history was once current day, then classical art is contemporary art in the future! And this is to testify that ‘contemporary’ has many possibilities and chances to create a future that speaks our voice to generations to come.
Nowadays, there are so many artists in this world, all in need of more venues for showing their work, more chances for development and sharing. People are still hungry. People have the urge to express themselves. The founder of this project is also one of them. Luckily, she has a lot of chances to meet these needs. Artists from all over the world are coming to join her project; people with different backgrounds, different cultures, different situations and different imaginations.

fifoo.program wants to help open your world.
We will showcase you twice a year – in the summer program and in the winter program. fifoo.program promotes the connections of artists from Asia and Europe. In the summer program especially, we will show young talents from Austrian dance institutions who are just starting their careers alongside the established dance artists.
This project began in 2012 under the strong and warm support of Palais Kabelwerk, in Vienna. We hope that our project will be able to spark some magic in you.
The contents of the show will vary each time; there will be dance, music, film, theater or.......we are open for all arts that can be shown on a stage. We invite art productions to the program, by Austrian and international contemporary artists, particularly from Asia.
fifoo.program is aiming for more creativity, strong development, and a chance to share art with one another. Not just between the artists themselves, but between the artists and their audience.
Now is the time to create a new history!

Born 1988 in Japan. Freelance dancer, choreographer and organizer. Graduated from Konservatorium Privatuniversität Wien. Obtained a scholarship from Tanzquartier Wien in 2008 and Bachelor of Arts in 2010. Co-founder of the dance company “Mars Bambis”. She is the founder of the performing arts project “fifoo.program”.
